A statement from the sheriffs office said deputies responding to a call on April 6 found the decomposing body of Carla Jean Baggett in the home she shared with Johnson. Its believed Johnson had shared the bedroom with Baggett since April 3, when she was last seen alive.

According to video from KITN, Johnson slept with the corpse for several days.

The Martin County girlfriendSheriffs Office said Tuesday that 44-year-old Randall Edward Johnsonis charged with a felony count of concealing a death from law enforcement. Johnsonis jailed under $100,000 bond, and its not known if he has an attorney.
